Lois G. Powell I read your letter and enjoyed reading it. You are so right about feeling overwhelmed. All of my children are grown and in the age category of 40 - 49 and raising children so I know what they're going through. My oldest son is a CPA and changed made the decision to apply for a job in a smaller company. He said everyone sits in there own cubicle and work and barely speak. He's with a smaller company now and is loving it. It's more relaxing and they actually communicate with one another. Well, I'm a retired writing teacher and am now writing and self publishing my books. I enjoy yours. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much, Lois, for that story. I can only imagine what it was like for your son to sit around in a cubicle all day not having any interaction with others. Glad he found another job where he's happier.

Good luck on your books! Isn't it so rewarding to write stories and put them out into the world yourself?!

I heard a wonderful sermon today, although it was set in a Christian setting, it can be used anywhere. Thank the ppl that are working, thank them for showing up. They are overwhelmed in some capacity as well. You know who needs the most encouragement? Anyone that breathes. Everyone!

I loved this also, I see you, I believe in you, I am for you. Send that to a friend, write a note of encouragement. I guarantee if we appreciate someone for just being a human then we begin to feel accomplished in our daily lives.

Thank you @Heather to remind us that no matter what the situation we are in, that we truly need to listen and appreciate every moment we are in. We can trust ourselves! We matter…..

(Or at least this is what I got from this article)😀

Thanks, Myra! And yes, I'm to thankful I work for a firm now that is pretty good at saying "Thank you!" Because you're right, EVERYONE needs even a small amount of encouragement these days. Good to "see" you here!
